Why West Coast Swing?

Wichita Westies is a group dedicated to teaching and sharing the love of West Coast Swing. Our love for West Coast Swing comes from the flexibility and musicality of the dance. While there is a structure present in the dance, the focus is the movement and connection to the music.

What to Expect

West Coast Swing is a couples lead follow dance. You do not need to be an experienced dancer in order to participate. We rotate partners throughout the lesson, so you do not need a parter in order to sign-up. We have a diverse group of dancers of all ages.
